Hologic Names 18-Year Veteran Anne Liddy as New General Counsel
Medical technology firm Hologic has appointed Anne Liddy as its new general counsel, according to a recent announcement. Liddy, who has been with the company for 18 years, steps into the role following the retirement of John Griffin after 40 years in the legal profession, the last 10 as Hologic’s legal chief.

Hologic, a medical technology company focused on women’s health, has promoted an 18-year veteran of its legal department to general counsel.
Griffin’s career includes a 15-year tenure at the medical device company Covidien, culminating in its $43 billion acquisition by Medtronic. Before joining Covidien, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Boston, where he prosecuted complex criminal cases.
Liddy began her in-house legal career at Pfizer.
