Honeywell India recently hosted its first ‘LeadHERS in Tech’ event in Bengaluru, bringing together more than 200 women professionals from the technology industry. The event served as a platform to celebrate women-led innovations and foster discussions around breaking barriers, promoting leadership, and reshaping the tech landscape.
Anant Maheshwari, President & CEO of Global Regions, Honeywell, delivered a keynote address. He highlighted the crucial role diverse voices play in advancing future technological innovations. Maheshwari emphasized that women are pivotal not just in today’s advancements but also in shaping the very future of technology.

A fireside chat featured Honeywell leaders Ashish Modi and Niranjan Kalyandurg, who discussed the importance of male allyship, mentorship, and addressing unconscious biases to build a truly inclusive workplace.
A panel discussion, titled ‘Breaking Barriers in Tech,’ featured prominent industry leaders, including Latha Chemrakalam (Continental), Sidharth Balachandran (Airbus), Ashwini Siddhi (GoDaddy), and Sumedha Limaye (Quest Global). These speakers shared their personal journeys of resilience and innovation within the tech sector.
Inspirational talks by Vandana Suri, founder of TAXSHE, and Olympian Nisha Millet provided attendees with compelling stories of perseverance and achieving success. The event also hosted the ‘InnovateHER Contest,’ where women-led teams presented technology solutions designed to address real-world challenges.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore Honeywell’s newest advancements in aviation, automation, and energy transition technologies, demonstrating the company’s commitment to diversity and technological leadership.
