Jagat Patel is a Principal at Deloitte, where he serves as the Global Chief Commercial Officer and Practice Leader for the firm’s Microsoft Technology Services Practice. With over 25 years of experience, Patel also leads the US Consulting Investment Management & Real Estate (IMRE) practice, focusing on the strategic growth of a diverse portfolio of clients across asset and wealth management, retirement, private equity, hedge funds, and real estate.
Patel’s role extends to fostering a diverse and equitable community of practice consisting of over 3,000 practitioners. As a strategist and technologist, he has overseen more than $3 billion in strategy, business, and technology-led transformation programs, collaborating with C-suite executives and Boards of Directors at top financial services companies.
In addition to his leadership roles, Patel is the Global Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for one of the world’s leading asset managers, overseeing the full scope of consulting, advisory, and tax services. He also heads Deloitte Consulting’s Investment Management Technology practice worldwide and is a member of Deloitte’s Global Financial Services Consulting Executive Committee. Patel’s experience includes working closely with technology platforms such as Adobe, AWS, Blackrock Aladdin, Microsoft, Google, and State Street Alpha. He and his family make their home in Connecticut.
