Jagat Patel is a Principal at Deloitte, serving as the Global Chief Commercial Officer and Practice Leader of Deloitte’s Global Microsoft Technology Services Practice. With over 25 years of experience, Patel has established himself as a strategist and technologist, driving significant growth within the firm.
Patel also leads the US Consulting Investment Management & Real Estate (IMRE) practice. In this role, he is responsible for strategic advancement with leading asset and wealth managers, retirement funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and real estate clients. He is also dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive practice community of over 3,000 practitioners.
Over the past two decades, Patel has led over $3 billion in strategy, business, and operating model transformation programs. These initiatives have focused on technology-led differentiation for clients, working in partnership with C-suite executives and Boards of Directors within the Top 20 Financial Services firms.
Furthermore, Patel serves as Deloitte’s Global Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for one of the world’s top-3 asset managers, overseeing all aspects of Consulting, Advisory, and Tax services. He also leads Deloitte Consulting’s Investment Management Technology practice globally and is a member of Deloitte’s Global Financial Services Consulting Executive Committee.
Patel’s work involves close collaboration with several Technology Growth Platforms, including Adobe, AWS, Blackrock Aladdin, Microsoft, Google, and State Street Alpha. He lives in Connecticut with his family.
