Jimmy Kimmel found an eye-opening analysis of Donald Trump and his relationship with Russia, not from a political commentator, but from an unexpected source: Grok, the artificial intelligence tool on X, formerly Twitter, backed by Elon Musk.
Kimmel pointed out that Musk and his ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ have been reportedly exploring the use of AI to potentially reduce the federal workforce, aiming to significantly downsize government departments and agencies.
During his show, Kimmel highlighted a report indicating that Musk’s own AI tool appears to hold a less-than-favorable view of Trump. This information came from Arizona Republic columnist EJ Montini, who had posed a question to Grok.
Montini asked Grok: ‘What is the likelihood from 1-100 that Trump is a Putin-compromised asset? Use all publicly available information from 1980 on and his failure to ever say anything negative about Putin but has no issue attacking allies.’
Grok’s response? An estimated 75% to 85% likelihood that ‘Trump is a Putin-compromised asset, leaning toward the higher end’ of that range. Kimmel reacted with humor, stating, ‘Well, if that’s good enough to fire somebody, Grok him up… Because 85% is very high.’
The segment showcased Kimmel’s ongoing commentary on current events, using humor and unexpected sources to deliver commentary on political figures and developments.
