Meter, an enterprise internet infrastructure provider, has announced a multi-year partnership with Microsoft to drive innovation in high-performance networking.
The collaboration will center on three key areas:
Investment: Microsoft will support Meter’s development of new networking hardware and software, providing design and performance expertise.
Advanced Computing: Meter is focused on full integration with Microsoft’s Azure AI computing infrastructure, offering significant computing and performance enhancements for training custom models. As the initial step, Meter will integrate its generative user interface product, Command, with Azure.
Market Expansion: Meter will leverage the Microsoft Azure Marketplace to expand its channels, promoting, selling, and distributing its products to a wider customer base.

“As AI continues to reshape our world, modernizing global networking infrastructure isn’t just important – it’s imperative,” said Jason Graefe, corporate vice president of independent software vendors and digital natives at Microsoft. “Meter’s vision for faster, more resilient, and secure networks represents the kind of ambitious thinking needed to drive the industry forward. We’re backing Meter’s bold mission to rebuild networking from the ground up and transform an essential industry.”
