New Announcements and Updates
- SAP Business Suite Acceleration Program with Microsoft Cloud: This program provides customers with a smooth path to next-generation SAP Cloud ERP solutions on Microsoft Cloud, delivered through their global partner ecosystem.
- 99.95% SLA option for SAP Cloud ERP Private: Microsoft Azure is the first cloud provider to enable SAP’s 99.95% SLA option for SAP Cloud ERP Private, part of the RISE with SAP journey.
- SAP Business Suite Cloud ERP packages on Microsoft Azure Marketplace: These packages will be available later this year, enabling customers to adopt modern, intelligent ERP systems.
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) on Azure: SAP BTP will be available in the Azure marketplace in the US in H2 2025, offering 70 services across 10 Azure regions.
- SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Databricks on Microsoft Azure: Available in Q3 2025, these solutions will leverage Microsoft’s first-party Azure Databricks service.
Enhancing Productivity and Security
- The general availability of Joule in Microsoft 365 Copilot allows employees to access information from SAP business applications seamlessly.
- New European digital commitments from Microsoft underscore their respect for sovereignty while promoting economic opportunities and strengthening cybersecurity.
- Enhanced security measures include new capabilities in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for SAP customers.
