Microsoft Thailand has launched the AI Skills Navigator, an online learning platform featuring more than 200 AI courses designed for a broad spectrum of learners. The platform caters to beginners, general users, specialist professionals, and software developers, providing a comprehensive AI education ecosystem.
Key Courses and Features
The AI Skills Navigator offers several notable courses for learners at various levels. For beginners, the platform provides foundational knowledge through courses such as ‘AI Basics’ and ‘AI Skills for Everyone’. The ‘Azure AI: Zero to Hero’ course introduces aspiring software developers and students to cloud and AI technologies, enabling them to create AI-powered solutions.

Strategic Partnerships for AI Upskilling
Beyond the AI Skills Navigator platform, Microsoft’s THAI Academy program includes significant partnerships with government agencies to address diverse sector needs. Key initiatives include:
- Collaboration with the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) and the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) to train over 100,000 Thai civil servants in AI skills.
- Hosting the ‘GovAI Hackathon’ with DGA, encouraging public sector personnel to share innovative AI applications for national benefit. Applications for the hackathon are open until May 12.
- Partnership with the Department of Skill Development to provide AI upskilling for over 100,000 Thai workers and job seekers.
- Specialist cybersecurity training for over 300 personnel from the National Cyber Security Agency and critical information infrastructure organisations.
Education and Workforce Development
Microsoft is also focusing on education through partnerships with the Education Ministry to train 4,500 teachers in AI skills, potentially reaching over 400,000 students. The company is working with the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre to integrate Microsoft’s foundational AI content into the AI Literacy curriculum for students in grades 4–12.
Business and Industry Collaboration
To enhance SME capabilities, Microsoft is collaborating with various business organisations, including the Digital Council of Thailand, the Federation of Thai Industries, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s LiVE Exchange. These partnerships aim to enhance the AI skills of over 20,000 Thai SMEs.
Ensuring Equal Access to AI Learning
The initiative also focuses on reaching underrepresented groups through collaboration with the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission and the DES Ministry. The partnership aims to train staff managing 1,722 ICT Learning Centres, potentially reaching more than 250,000 citizens nationwide. The AI Skills Navigator also supports freelancers and non-traditional workers through self-paced AI skills development courses.
