Microsoft’s New AI Agent for Windows 11
Microsoft has announced the release of a new AI agent designed to perform specific actions for users based on their requests. This feature is currently available to Windows 11 Insiders with a Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PC and the primary display language set to English. Support for eligible AMD and Intel PCs is expected soon.
How the AI Agent Works
Users can instruct the AI agent by stating their requirements, such as “how to control my PC by voice” or “my mouse pointer is too small.” The agent will then guide the user through the correct steps and can even execute the task if given permission.

Additional Features for Windows Insiders
Windows 11 Insiders with a Copilot+ PC can also reset Recall and all the data it’s collected about their activities. This can be done by heading to Settings, selecting Privacy & Security, and then choosing Recall & Snapshots, where a reset button is available.
Other new features include:
- Click to Do option with Microsoft 365 Copilot, allowing users to send text or images to the AI and ask questions about the content.
- Improved sharing options for OneDrive files in the cloud.
- Various bug fixes.
Requirements and Future Updates
To use the AI agent, users need to install the latest Insider build and have a compatible PC. Microsoft plans to expand support to more devices in the future.
