Microsoft is introducing two new AI sales agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot, designed to revolutionize revenue operations for businesses. These agents, slated for public preview in May, will integrate with both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce CRM systems.
The Sales Agent is designed to autonomously convert contacts into qualified leads. It achieves this by researching prospects, scheduling meetings, and engaging with customers around the clock. For simpler transactions, the agent can even handle sales independently.
The agent personalizes interactions by accessing CRM data, company resources, web information, and Microsoft 365 communications.
Complementing this, Sales Chat accelerates sales cycles by providing actionable insights from various data sources. Representatives can receive risk assessments for deals, meeting preparations, and strategic plans through natural language prompts, eliminating the need to directly navigate CRM interfaces.
Microsoft reports substantial adoption of Copilot, with nearly 70% of Fortune 500 companies already utilizing it. Furthermore, over 400,000 custom agents have been created last quarter using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Real-world success stories are already emerging. Vodafone anticipates doubling or tripling its proposal response capacity. Additionally, Campari Group has reduced marketing copy costs by 18%.
Richard Thompson, CEO of ANS, noted a significant increase in revenue following the migration from Salesforce to Dynamics 365 Sales. Specifically, there was a 133% year-over-year revenue increase per sales representative. Further, Microsoft 365 Copilot implementation resulted in 30 minutes saved daily and a 20% increase in pipeline generation.
To promote further adoption, Microsoft will launch the AI Accelerator for Sales program on April 1. This program will offer expertise in CRM migration, seller adoption, and AI agent customization.
