Nominate a Medtech Visionary for AdvaMed®’s 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award

As AdvaMed® celebrates its 50th Anniversary, the organization will again honor an exceptional leader whose career has profoundly impacted the medical technology industry. The AdvaMed® Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals whose actions, leadership, and accomplishments have significantly contributed to the development and introduction of medical innovation, ultimately improving healthcare delivery and impacting patients’ lives.
The 2025 award recipient is expected to be someone who has consistently championed innovation and spurred positive change within the medtech sector. Nominations are open to the public and will be accepted until mid-March. The recipient will be recognized at The MedTech Conference, held October 5-8 in San Diego, California.
Individuals nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award should have demonstrated recognizable, meaningful, and sustained contributions to the medical technology industry. Nominees must be retired from their day-to-day responsibilities within the medtech industry. The award recognizes those who have completed their careers and left a lasting impact on the industry and healthcare.
A committee composed of current medtech industry CEOs and top executives will review nominations and determine the winner based on the following criteria:
- Length of career and years of demonstrable leadership and contributions
- Impact on patient care
- Commitment to mentoring and career development
- Significance of role in the discovery and commercialization of medtech innovation
- History and support of entrepreneurship, including support for capital formation and the medtech ecosystem
- Philanthropy, community service, and industry leadership
- Advocacy promoting a welcoming and positive environment for the introduction of medical technology innovation
The award will be presented during the keynote session of The MedTech Conference, the industry’s annual meeting.
