NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter, ending January 26, 2025, showcasing substantial growth across its business segments.
Financial Highlights:
For Q4 2025, NVIDIA’s revenue reached $39.3 billion, marking a 12% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 78% surge year-over-year. GAAP earnings per diluted share were $0.89, up 14% from the prior quarter and 82% from the same period last year. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share also reached $0.89, showing a 10% increase from the previous quarter and a 71% rise year-over-year. For the entire fiscal year 2025, revenue totaled $130.5 billion, a remarkable 114% increase from the previous year. GAAP earnings per diluted share for the year were $2.94, a 147% jump from the previous fiscal year. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share reached $2.99, representing a 130% increase year-over-year.
Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, commented on the results, stating, “Demand for Blackwell is amazing as reasoning AI adds another scaling law — increasing compute for training makes models smarter and increasing compute for long thinking makes the answer smarter.” He further noted the successful ramp-up of Blackwell AI supercomputers, achieving billions of dollars in sales in the initial quarter. Huang emphasized AI’s rapid advancement, with “agentic AI and physical AI set[ting] the stage for the next wave of AI to revolutionize the largest industries.”
NVIDIA declared its next quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share, payable on April 2, 2025, to shareholders of record as of March 12, 2025.
Key Segment Performance:
- Data Center: Revenue in the fourth quarter was a record $35.6 billion, a 16% increase quarter-over-quarter and a 93% surge year-over-year. For the full year, the Data Center segment’s revenue rose 142% to a record $115.2 billion.
- Gaming and AI PC: Fourth-quarter Gaming revenue was $2.5 billion, a 22% decrease from the previous quarter and an 11% decrease year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 9% to $11.4 billion.
- Professional Visualization: Fourth-quarter revenue was $511 million, up 5% from the previous quarter and 10% year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 21% to $1.9 billion.
- Automotive and Robotics: Fourth-quarter Automotive revenue was $570 million, up 27% from the previous quarter and 103% year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 55% to $1.7 billion.
