    NVIDIA Announces Record Revenue in Q4 and Fiscal Year 2025, Driven by Strong AI Demand

    NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter, ending January 26, 2025, showcasing substantial growth across its business segments.

    Financial Highlights:

    For Q4 2025, NVIDIA’s revenue reached $39.3 billion, marking a 12% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 78% surge year-over-year. GAAP earnings per diluted share were $0.89, up 14% from the prior quarter and 82% from the same period last year. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share also reached $0.89, showing a 10% increase from the previous quarter and a 71% rise year-over-year. For the entire fiscal year 2025, revenue totaled $130.5 billion, a remarkable 114% increase from the previous year. GAAP earnings per diluted share for the year were $2.94, a 147% jump from the previous fiscal year. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share reached $2.99, representing a 130% increase year-over-year.

    Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, commented on the results, stating, “Demand for Blackwell is amazing as reasoning AI adds another scaling law — increasing compute for training makes models smarter and increasing compute for long thinking makes the answer smarter.” He further noted the successful ramp-up of Blackwell AI supercomputers, achieving billions of dollars in sales in the initial quarter. Huang emphasized AI’s rapid advancement, with “agentic AI and physical AI set[ting] the stage for the next wave of AI to revolutionize the largest industries.”

    NVIDIA declared its next quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share, payable on April 2, 2025, to shareholders of record as of March 12, 2025.

    Key Segment Performance:

    • Data Center: Revenue in the fourth quarter was a record $35.6 billion, a 16% increase quarter-over-quarter and a 93% surge year-over-year. For the full year, the Data Center segment’s revenue rose 142% to a record $115.2 billion.
    • Gaming and AI PC: Fourth-quarter Gaming revenue was $2.5 billion, a 22% decrease from the previous quarter and an 11% decrease year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 9% to $11.4 billion.
    • Professional Visualization: Fourth-quarter revenue was $511 million, up 5% from the previous quarter and 10% year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 21% to $1.9 billion.
    • Automotive and Robotics: Fourth-quarter Automotive revenue was $570 million, up 27% from the previous quarter and 103% year-over-year. Full-year revenue rose 55% to $1.7 billion.

    Strategic Highlights:

    NVIDIA highlighted several significant achievements and partnerships, including:

    • Serving as a key technology partner for the $500 billion Stargate Project.
    • Collaborating with cloud service providers like AWS, CoreWeave, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to bring NVIDIA GB200 systems to cloud regions globally.
    • Partnering with AWS to make the NVIDIA DGX Cloud AI computing platform and NVIDIA NIM microservices available through AWS Marketplace.
    • Announcing that Cisco will integrate NVIDIA Spectrum-X into its networking portfolio.
    • Revealing that over 75% of the systems on the TOP500 list of most powerful supercomputers are powered by NVIDIA technologies.
    • Collaborating with Verizon to integrate NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIM, and accelerated computing with Verizon’s private 5G network.
    • Unveiling partnerships with IQVIA, Illumina, Mayo Clinic, and Arc Institute to advance genomics, drug discovery, and healthcare.
    • Launching NVIDIA AI Blueprints and Llama Nemotron model families and releasing NVIDIA NIM microservices.
    • Announcing the opening of NVIDIA’s first R&D center in Vietnam.
    • Revealing that Siemens Healthineers has adopted MONAI Deploy for medical imaging AI.
    • Announcing new GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards.
    • Unveiling NVIDIA Project DIGITS, a personal AI supercomputer.
    • Introducing NVIDIA Media2, an AI-powered initiative for content creation.
    • Announcing that Toyota will build its next-generation vehicles on NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin.
    • Partnering with Hyundai Motor Group.
    • Launching NVIDIA Cosmos to accelerate physical AI development.

    Financial Outlook:

    For the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, NVIDIA projects revenue of $43.0 billion, plus or minus 2%. GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins are expected to be 70.6% and 71.0%, respectively, plus or minus 50 basis points. GAAP and non-GAAP operating expenses are projected to be approximately $5.2 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively.

    Colette Kress, NVIDIA’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, provided additional commentary, available on the company’s investor relations website. A conference call and webcast discussing the financial results were held at 2 p.m. Pacific time (5 p.m. Eastern time).
