Nvidia Unveils New AI Chips, Targeting Expansion of AI Computing Power
At the annual developer conference, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia Corp., took the stage to address the rising costs of artificial intelligence computing. His response focused on revealing a suite of new, more powerful chips and related technological advancements, designed to provide customers with a clearer return on their investments in AI.
One of the key announcements was the successor to Nvidia’s flagship AI processor. The company unveiled the Blackwell Ultra, along with plans for subsequent generations of chips scheduled for release up to 2027. Huang also introduced the Dynamo-branded software. This software is designed to fine-tune both existing and future equipment, with the goal of increasing efficiency and boosting profitability for Nvidia’s customers.
