Health technology stocks led sector gains on the New Zealand exchange by midday Wednesday, rising over 3% in trading. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (FPH) shares were up 5% in recent trading.
Conversely, consumer durable shares declined, dropping by over 1%. KMD Brands (KMD) shares fell by 3% in recent trade. This decrease followed the announcement of a wider fiscal first-half loss of NZ$0.03 per diluted share from the company, compared to a loss of NZ$0.014 per diluted share in the previous year.
