The Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn College) community and the public are invited to an event addressing the digital divide, part of the Technology & Society Colloquia Series. The event, titled “Bridging the Digital Divide: Unlocking Access and Opportunity in Education,” will take place on Wednesday, November 6, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Presentation Room of the Davie Jane Gilmour Center.
The event features Lasada “LP” Pippen, a former computer engineer turned motivational speaker. Pippen, a first-generation college graduate, bilingual STEM expert, and published author, will lead the discussion. Daniel J. Clasby, assistant dean of academic operations at Penn College, will join Pippen for the conversation.
Refreshments will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
