Philips announced that it has been ranked as the top medical technology company in the Top 100 Global Innovators 2025 by Clarivate. This recognition reinforces Philips’ global reputation as a leader in healthcare innovation.
This marks the 12th consecutive year Philips has been included in this prestigious assessment of global innovators. In 2024, the company invested approximately 1.7 billion euros – more than 9% of sales – in research and development. This reflects Philips’ commitment to improving healthcare accessibility.
Philips is also a leader in AI-related patent applications in the healthcare sector, dedicating around half of its R&D workforce to these areas.
