Bengaluru-based prop-tech startup Inkers Technology has announced the successful closing of a $3 million Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ashish Kasholia of Lucky Investments, building upon a previous $2.03 million raise from Sailing Stones Technologies and other investors.
Inkers, founded by Rohan Shravan, Manish Giri, and Srikanth Kandada, is focused on revolutionizing the construction industry using advanced technology. The company’s platform integrates computer vision, deep neural networks, and hardware acceleration to deliver actionable insights for construction projects. This new funding will fuel the expansion of Inkers’ reach and further enhance its AI-driven product offerings.
At the heart of Inkers’ innovation is its flagship product, Observance. This solution processes complex data, including point clouds, images, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) models. It provides construction teams with highly accurate 3D models, thermal maps, and defect reports, often delivered within 24 to 48 hours. The platform boasts a scanning capacity of 100,000 square feet per hour, which helps detect structural issues early, optimize workflows, and achieve significant cost and time savings.
Currently deployed across more than 150 sites in cities such as Bangalore, NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad, Inkers claims to have analyzed over 250 million square feet of construction data, processing two petabytes of information. Looking forward, Inkers aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the construction sector in India and beyond. The company is committed to enabling sustainable growth and addressing critical infrastructure challenges.
The recent funding will be instrumental in accelerating Inkers’ vision of delivering faster, smarter, and more efficient solutions to the construction industry.
