Green, Ohio (March 10, 2025) – Raintree Golf and Event Center is set to enhance the golfer experience with a new fleet of Club Car golf carts equipped with advanced GPS technology, as announced today.
The enhancements incorporate the Visage Connect System, which offers real-time data and improved guest interactions. These new carts will feature GPS technology, built-in Bluetooth speakers, pace-of-play information, digital scoring capabilities, and more. This upgrade aligns with the City of Green’s ongoing commitment to integrate cutting-edge technology and elevate guest services at the city-owned facility.
Dominic Mercadante, General Manager of Raintree Golf and Event Center, expressed enthusiasm for this new development. “Raintree Golf and Event Center is proud to be one of the first golf courses in northeast Ohio to feature the new Club Cars with the Visage Connect System and GPS technology,” he said. “The new technology will provide the extra element of fun for guests and provide a resort-like experience.”
The new golf car fleet boasts next-generation technology, including an innovative 10-inch LCD display with enhanced 3D graphics. It also provides slope-adjusted GPS yardages and offers intuitive tablet-like touch, zoom, and swipe functionality.
From a course management perspective, the Visage Connect System enables Raintree’s golf professionals to optimize pace of play and stay in touch with guests through real-time vehicle tracking and messaging. The in-car entertainment system has intuitive Bluetooth pairing, an embedded media player, and high-performance Bluetooth speakers.

Raintree has been undergoing several improvements in recent years. Renovations include bunker restorations, cart path upgrades, and enhanced drainage systems. These improvements are designed to improve course conditions and overall playability. Investments have also been made in equipment for both golf course maintenance and clubhouse operations, ensuring top-tier service and efficiency for guests.
Inside the clubhouse, the Grand Ballroom and The Grill have been renovated, creating a welcoming environment for guests. The Grill now offers American-style cuisine. The course was established in 1992 and offers diverse amenities, including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green.
Owned by the City of Green, the Raintree Golf and Event Center features an 18-hole public golf course with full-service event and banquet facilities. The Brian Huntley-designed course spans 180 acres, plays to a par of 72, and measures 6,748 yards from the tips.
