Ralliant Corporation Chooses Raleigh for Global Headquarters
Raleigh, NC – Governor Josh Stein has announced a significant investment in Wake County, with Ralliant Corporation, a global provider of precision technologies, planning to establish its worldwide headquarters in Raleigh. This move is expected to create 180 jobs and inject $2.1 million into the North Hills area of Raleigh.
Ralliant, a company formed from Fortive Corporation’s Precision Technologies segment, is slated to become an independent public company in early Q3 2025. The company specializes in technologies essential for innovation and mission-critical applications across various sectors including test and measurement, specialty sensors, and aerospace.
“Raleigh is an ideal location with its strong high-tech research presence, top universities, skilled workforce, and proximity to our operating companies,” said Tami Newcombe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ralliant.

This strategic decision highlights Raleigh’s strong economic environment. City of Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell emphasized how the city’s qualities attracted Ralliant: “Ralliant Corporation chose a city with a talented workforce, a high quality of life, and a safe, welcoming environment.”
Ralliant’s decision was largely motivated by the availability of top technology talent in the region. As the recently-crowned “Best Performing Large City” by the Milken Institute, Raleigh’s consistently strong labor market is boosted by a large and well-rounded high tech sector.
Wake County is also excited about the announcement:
“I’m excited to share that the Ralliant Corporation will bring up to 180 new jobs with an average salary of $189,479 to Wake County over the next five years,” said Chair Susan Evans of the Wake County Board of Commissioners.
The project resulted from collaboration with partners including Raleigh Economic Development and Wake County Economic Development, programs of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
