ResMed (NYSE: RMD), a major player in respiratory care and digital health solutions, today announced a comprehensive brand evolution. This initiative aims to unify its brand portfolio and broaden its reach to better serve both patients and healthcare providers worldwide. The company, based in San Diego, is known for its leadership in sleep apnea treatment utilizing CPAP therapy, alongside its digital health offerings.
This evolution represents a significant step for ResMed, building on its previous brand update in 2014, which emphasized connectivity through cloud-enabled medical devices. The current transformation signals a shift into a “fully unified health technology brand,” according to the company. This new strategy allows ResMed to cater to millions of consumers, healthcare professionals, and software users worldwide, the company says.

As part of this brand evolution, ResMed plans to streamline its offerings by consolidating its various brands, products, and services under a single, unified brand identity. The goal is to provide a clearer and more accessible experience for both consumers and healthcare providers. Accompanying this change is a redesigned logo and a fresh visual identity.
ResMed also plans to launch its inaugural U.S. consumer campaign, designed to remove the stigma surrounding CPAP therapy and make sleep health more accessible and approachable. In addition, a targeted educational campaign for primary care physicians in the U.S. is designed to encourage earlier diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea. The company is also running sleep health awareness campaigns in key markets across Asia Pacific and Europe.
