The Ring Outdoor Camera Plus is designed to work alongside the popular Ring Doorbell products. Priced at £99.99, the Outdoor Camera Plus boasts several key features. These features include:

Existing outdoor cameras from the brand only support up to 1080p video resolution. This upgrade provides much sharper and more detailed footage. The Low-Light Sight technology ensures a “clear, colourful view even in near dark conditions,” according to Amazon. This allows for round-the-clock monitoring, with 24/7 recording available through a Ring subscription.
The 2K resolution promises the “best image quality yet” from Ring. The camera records or live-streams footage to your smartphone via the Ring app. This lets you view past events or monitor your property in real-time. Enhanced clarity provides a better view of what’s happening on your property.
This improved clarity is especially useful for more unfortunate scenarios. Should the need arise, you can use the footage to support insurance claims or provide evidence to the police. Even in less serious cases, this feature can help you keep track of pets or monitor deliveries.
