Awesome Intelligence for Enhanced Search and Creativity
The new Galaxy A series includes the “Awesome Intelligence” suite, bringing AI tools to the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G. Powered by One UI 7, these features offer enhanced search capabilities, improved visual experiences, and updated camera functionality.
A key AI feature is the enhanced Circle to Search tool powered by Google. This feature allows users to quickly search for information directly from their phone’s screen by circling an item. Users can also immediately identify phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs and take action without switching apps. It also provides the ability to identify music playing nearby through a long press of the navigation bar.
Improved Camera Capabilities
The Galaxy A series also focuses on camera improvements, including a 50MP main lens on all devices. The Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G will feature 10-bit HDR front lens recording for enhanced selfies. The A56 5G also has a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Unique to the Galaxy A56 5G is the “Best Face” feature, which combines the best facial features from a motion photo of up to five people, ensuring everyone looks their best. The A56 5G also features enhancements to Nightography to improve low-light photography using Low Noise Mode and wide camera support.

Other camera-focused features include:
- Object Eraser: Users can remove unwanted objects from photos manually or automatically.
- Filters: Users can create custom filters by extracting colors and styles from existing photos.

Enhanced Durability and Software Longevity
The new Galaxy A series smartphones are designed for long-term use. They will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, and six years of security updates to maximize usability and extend the device’s lifespan. The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G also include 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with brightness levels up to 1200 nits for improved viewing in various environments. Stereo speakers offer immersive sound.

All devices include a 5,000mAh battery. Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G support 45W charging and Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology. The A56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the A36 5G features the Snapdragon® 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform. Both devices have a larger vapor chamber for sustained performance.
The Galaxy A26 5G features an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, matching the A56 5G and A36 5G. An advanced Corning® Glass cover material adds scratch and crack resistance.
