Samsung Solidifies AI Leadership at MWC 2025

Samsung is gearing up to showcase its commitment to artificial intelligence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, taking place in Barcelona from March 3-6. The company will highlight advancements in mobile AI, software-centric networks, and extended reality (XR), emphasizing the integration of AI across the Galaxy ecosystem.

Samsung’s vision centers on creating a true AI companion experience for users, spanning the Galaxy S25 series, the new Galaxy A series, health and home experiences, and beyond. This approach includes advanced software and end-to-end solutions for network operators, enabling them to fully leverage the benefits of AI technology.

Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) and Networks businesses will present their latest AI innovations at the event. These include enhancements to Galaxy AI and its software-centric networks.

Leading the evolution of mobile AI, the Galaxy S25 series aims to transform how people create, play, and get things done. The new devices will feature enhanced camera capabilities and performance.

At MWC, visitors will experience how the Galaxy S25 serves as an AI companion, including:

    • Seamless app experiences: Tasks like finding restaurants on Google Maps and sharing details via Messages become easier with a single voice command through Gemini.
    • Circle to Search with Google: This allows users to search their phone screen in more contextual ways, like recognizing URLs.
    • Gemini Live: Natural language conversation for brainstorming, learning, and rehearsing with real-time responses and support for images, files, and YouTube videos.
    • Now Brief: Personalized content snapshots based on tailored insights and proactive recommendations via Now Bar.

The Galaxy S25 will also showcase advanced camera technology and new creation features like Drawing Assist, Gallery Search, and unique filter options.

The event will also highlight the Snapdragon® 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, designed in collaboration with Qualcomm, to ensure high-speed gameplay, responsiveness, and high-quality visuals.

Expanding AI-Driven Experiences to the Galaxy A Series

Samsung is also expanding its AI-driven innovations to the new Galaxy A series, which will include the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G. These devices will integrate “Awesome Intelligence,” making powerful Galaxy AI technology accessible to more users. The Galaxy A series also includes improved camera capabilities that include the popular Object Eraser. The Galaxy A series delivers reliable performance and offers six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

    Elevating Everyday Life with AI

MWC attendees can explore how Samsung is increasing control and insights into users’ lives at home and bringing new levels of insight to health. Samsung will showcase the Galaxy S25’s AI-driven daily health insights, including Energy Score, Wellness Tips, and Sleep Insights. In a focus on connected health, the booth will show seamless integration with apps like SmartThings and Samsung Food, allowing users to manage their wellness journeys more holistically. New AI capabilities will also allow users to safely and conveniently manage their homes through device-to-device connectivity using the SmartThings platform, secured by Knox Matrix security.

    Realizing an End-to-End Software Network

Samsung will also present how it is advancing next-generation networks with AI, including its versatile vRAN solution, the latest 5G radios, and the Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite (NOS), allowing network operators to apply AI in every layer of their networks. The company will highlight its efforts in elevating software-based networks with its partner ecosystem. Samsung CognitiV NOS can also bring benefits to telecom operators across the lifecycle of its network. A private 5G network zone will display Samsung’s collaboration with Hyundai, showcasing their joint end-to-end Reduced Capability (RedCap) trial over a private 5G network. This demonstrates the potential improvements in battery life and energy efficiency for 5G IoT devices.

Samsung will be demonstrating these AI innovations at its Galaxy Experience Booth in Fira Gran Via Hall 3. A private booth will also showcase Samsung’s network solutions, located in Fira Gran Via Hall 2.
