Samsung Unveils AI-Driven Future at MWC 2025
Barcelona hosted Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, the premier global event for the mobile technology industry, which officially opened its doors on March 3rd. Samsung Electronics made a splash at the conference, presenting dynamic experience zones centered around the upcoming Galaxy S25 series and showcasing cutting-edge advancements in network solutions.

With well over 110,000 attendees expected, the city buzzed with excitement. Advertisements for the Galaxy S25 series were visible all over the venue, hinting at the innovative experiences within. Samsung’s presence highlighted the company’s focus on AI and the future of mobile technology.
A Glimpse into the Future: New Mobile Experiences with the Galaxy S25
Samsung constructed a large booth within the Fira Gran Via exhibition hall, covering 1,745 square meters. This space focused on the Galaxy S25 series and showcased the innovations expected in mobile experiences. A massive 41-meter-wide LED screen brought the capabilities of Galaxy AI to life.

Inside interactive zones, attendees were able to have hands-on experiences with the AI, camera, and performance enhancements. These innovations included AI-powered personalized insights, improved photography and editing tools, and high-performance gaming capabilities.
Revolutionizing Wellness: Health Solutions Powered by AI
The Health Solution zone presented AI-driven personalized health insights. This zone demonstrated Samsung’s commitment to user well-being. The highlight was the implementation of “Now Brief” on the Galaxy S25. This delivered a personalized Energy Score, insights into the user’s sleep patterns from the previous night, and current health status.
Through the Sleep details page in Samsung Health, users can review a detailed analysis of their sleep. This includes duration, sleep stages, and blood oxygen levels. Additionally, the Sleep environment report assesses factors such as room brightness, temperature, and humidity to help users optimize their quality of sleep.
“Galaxy AI is really changing the way we manage our health,” said one visitor after experiencing Samsung’s personalized health management approach that analyzes each individual’s health and interests to provide tailored guidance.

Home Solution: Creating a Smarter, More Secure Home
The Home Solution zone showcased an enhanced smart home experience powered by SmartThings and Knox Matrix. Users could visualize and manage connected smart home devices through an interactive floor plan of their home using the 3D Map View available on the Galaxy Tab S10.
Other SmartThings AI features included automated routines customized to user preferences, fall detection alerts for elderly family members, and reports tracking energy consumption for more efficient usage. To secure the smart home environment, Knox Matrix was designed to autonomously detect threats and allow connected devices to implement protective measures and notify users.

Galaxy Foundation: Commitment to Security and Sustainability
Samsung’s commitment to security and sustainability was the focus of the Galaxy Foundation zone. Samsung demonstrated how Galaxy users can control their data handling preferences. These include choosing between on-device processing or cloud-based processing and enabling or disabling personalized features.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S25’s on-device AI analyzes personal data through Personal Data Engine while also offering robust security via Knox Vault. Samsung highlighted their commitment to sustainability through initiatives focused on reducing carbon emissions. Attendees were particularly impressed by the use of recycled fishing nets to create smartphone components.

Samsung’s commitment to sustainability was also evident at the event through the announcement of Ocean Mode. This camera setting was developed to help capture underwater footage of coral reefs to support marine conservation efforts.

Next-Generation Network Solutions: Advancements in 5G and Beyond
In a separate, invitation-only exhibit, Samsung unveiled AI-optimized and software-centric network solutions, demonstrating the future of mobile communications. Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite (NOS) attracted global telecommunication operators and B2B clients. This platform included AI-powered network automation applications for the entire network lifecycle, from planning and deployment to operation and optimization.
Another key focus was the AI Energy Saving Manager, an AI-powered solution that analyzes traffic patterns to ensure network quality while reducing energy consumption by as much as 35%.

Additional highlights included Samsung’s collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company to introduce the first 5G Reduced Capability (RedCap) technology for mass-production vehicle manufacturing. A display of high-performance network chipsets and base station solutions was also offered.

Samsung’s presence at MWC 2025 reiterated the company’s dedication to innovation. From AI-driven user experiences with the Galaxy S25 to advanced network solutions, Samsung is forging the future of mobile technology.
