Skyborne Technology and AIG Announce Joint Venture for UAV Manufacturing

GULF COUNTY, Fla., December 2, 2024 – Skyborne Technology, a UAV Corp Company (OTC: UMAV), and Atlantic Industrial Group Inc. (AIG) have announced a strategic partnership to establish advanced manufacturing capabilities at Skyborne’s facility in Wewahitchka, Florida. This collaboration will focus on producing high-efficiency drone models, known as SVTOLs (Short Vertical Takeoff and Landing), utilizing innovative techniques such as large-scale 3D printing for airframe components.

This partnership will create an in-house design center specializing in airships and drones, using lightweight materials to enhance performance. Skyborne will continue development and operation of its low-altitude semi-rigid spherical airships at the Wewahitchka location. Both companies plan to utilize Skyborne’s Costin Airport for flight operations. New infrastructure improvements at the airport, including road upgrades and utility connections, were funded by federal and state grants.

AIG will integrate its custom drone technology with Skyborne’s Lighter-than-Air (LTA) platforms, expanding the functionality of their products for various applications. The Wewahitchka facility is expected to generate numerous high-paying jobs in drone fabrication, digital design, and business development, meeting the growing market demand for advanced technologies.

AIG holds several technology licenses that will be manufactured under this venture, including for government contracts and private security applications. These include VTOLs, energy generation systems and propulsion systems. Maceo Remy, CRO of AIG, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Skyborne Technology to bring our advanced UAV and SVTOL technologies to the next level.” Remy also noted the expected positive impact on local job creation.
