SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Public Schools (SPS) is offering a Parent Night specifically designed for families concerned about their children’s technology use.
On March 25, SPS will present ‘Parent Night: Help! Technology is Taking Over,’ featuring guest speaker Dr. Jean M. Twenge. The event aims to provide parents with practical strategies for achieving a healthy balance with technology.
Dr. Twenge, a recognized researcher in generational theory and psychology, will delve into the effects of technology on children’s mental health and their overall development. She will also present ten key rules for ‘future-proof parenting,’ offering guidance for navigating the digital landscape.
