TwinMind: The AI Assistant That’s Always Listening
Daniel George, founder and CEO of TwinMind, has an impressive background in artificial intelligence. He was part of a Nobel Prize-winning team that worked on detecting gravitational waves and black holes using AI. George also worked on AI projects at Wolfram and Google X, and even created an AI tool that automated his own job as a VP at JPMorgan.

Now, George is bringing his latest project to market: TwinMind, an AI platform that functions like ‘JARVIS in your pocket.’ The iPhone app listens to users’ surroundings, processes the information locally on their device, and provides end-of-day summaries. George claims that this approach enhances security, as audio isn’t stored or saved.
How TwinMind Works
Users can leave the app running throughout the day, and it will capture important details they might have otherwise forgotten. The app works in over 100 languages and can run for more than 12 hours without significantly draining the battery. It uses a large language model to process speech directly and create a daily ‘memory’ or rundown in the form of a bulleted memo.
Attracting Users and Investors
Since its launch in late March, TwinMind has gained thousands of users through word of mouth. The company has also caught the attention of prominent Silicon Valley investors, including Anand Rajaraman, Dan Roth, and Michael Liou. According to PitchBook, TwinMind’s valuation reached $30 million last year, with George stating that the current valuation is $50 million.
What’s Next for TwinMind
The app is currently free to use, and George says the company is planning a Series A funding round. TwinMind has amassed around 10,000 users so far, and George predicts that once people start using the app, they won’t stop. With its innovative approach to AI-assisted daily life, TwinMind is certainly making waves in the tech industry.
