The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has launched a MedTech Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) to revolutionize India’s healthcare landscape. This initiative is transforming the country’s healthcare ecosystem by fostering innovation, supporting local startups, and addressing critical medical challenges.
Envisioned to support health-tech startups in developing groundbreaking, cost-effective solutions, MedTech CoE provides a comprehensive incubation environment. This includes state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced IoT and Medi labs, dedicated clinical mentorship, business guidance, regulatory assistance, and access to investors and funding schemes.
The STPI MedTech CoE was set up in Lucknow in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Department of IT and Electronics, Government of UP, SGPGI Lucknow, Association of Medical Device Industry (AIMED), and Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ).
