UBE Corporation has announced the groundbreaking of a new dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC) plant near New Orleans, Louisiana, in partnership with HYCO1. The facility is set to be a key supplier for the electric vehicle (EV) market, utilizing HYCO1’s CUBE™ Technology for efficient syngas production.
