American Battery Technology Company has entered into a contract to sell its 12-acre legacy property in Fernley, Nevada for $6.75 million, with the transaction expected to close by July 10, 2025. The sale proceeds will support the advancement of lithium-ion battery recycling technologies at its commercial-scale facility in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.
American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) has been selected for a $150 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to construct a second lithium-ion battery recycling facility in North America. The expansion supports the company’s closed-loop battery metals supply chain and America’s transition to electrification.
