    Oracle CloudWorld

    Oracle CloudWorld serves as a major gathering for Oracle users, customers, and partners. Attendees can learn about the company’s latest innovative products, discover how their peers are utilizing Oracle technologies, and network with their colleagues.

    This event, which can draw up to 20,000 attendees, offers a packed schedule of events that typically revolve around Oracle’s products, like applications, cloud infrastructure, and databases. The conference will cover cloud management, digital transformation, integration, and process improvement strategies. The formats of the event vary, ranging from main-stage keynotes on AI and cloud technology to smaller, solution-oriented keynotes tailored to specific job roles and industries. Attendees can visit hands-on labs, attend digital training and certification sessions, and even participate in pre-event training.

    Oracle executives will also present keynote sessions at the conference. For example, CEO Safra A. Catz is scheduled to conduct a panel discussion on the successful implementation of cloud and AI by global organizations.     Dreamforce 2024

    Salesforce launched Dreamforce in 2003, and the conference has grown to become one of the world’s largest business events. It hosts around 40,000 people in the San Francisco area each year. Even though Salesforce started as a customer relationship management tool, the company and the Dreamforce conference now address areas like marketing, customer service, data management, artificial intelligence, and automation.

    The three-day conference provides networking events and offers over 1,000 breakout sessions, 150 workshops, and demos. Attendees can also reserve seats in advance for hands-on training and certification exams. Keynote speakers include business leaders like Marc Benioff, Chair, CEO and Co-Founder of Salesforce, Daniela Amodei, President and Co-Founder of Anthropic, and Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME; actors and actresses including Kerry Washington, Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, and Edward Norton; and notable public figures such as ​​Dr. Jane Goodall, Soledad O’Brien, San Francisco Mayor London N.     Mandiant Worldwide Information Security Exchange (mWISE)

    The Mandiant Worldwide Information Security Exchange, or mWISE, evolved from the Mandiant Cyber Defense Summit. Google acquired Mandiant in 2022, but the conference attempts to maintain a vendor-agnostic approach. The conference brings roughly 1,500 cybersecurity professionals together to share best practices and insights.

    The two-day conference provides over 70 sessions, including expert panels, breakout sessions, and keynotes across eight conference tracks. These tracks encompass cloud security, the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, threat and security operations, security threats and exploits, intelligence, next-gen CISO strategies, security engineering, and third-party and cyber risk management. Keynote speakers include Jen Easterly, Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and David Eagleman, a neuroscientist and host of PBS’s The Brain. John Hultquist, Chief Analyst of Mandiant Intelligence, will also share updates on emerging threats.

    InfoSec World 2024

    InfoSec World is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The event, which attracts about 2,500 attendees, brings together CISO, CTOs, CIOs, developers, engineers, architects, and product managers, to discuss security. The event’s theme this year is “rethink, reinvent, renew.” It will center on seven key areas: the threat horizon, defense in depth, AI, building a security-first organization, career opportunities, leadership skills, and keeping pace with changing compliance rules. Attendees can choose from over 100 sessions, including keynotes, workshops, breakout sessions, and panel discussions. Full-day workshops and summits will be available before and after the conference. These will delve deep into topics such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, threat modeling, and vendor risk.

    Keynote talks will be given by Zack Kass, futurist and former OpenAI executive, Amy Bogac, former CISO at Clorox, and Todd Fitzgerald, Vice President of Cybersecurity Strategy at Cybersecurity Collaborative. Attendees can also earn continuing education credits for select sessions.

    Meta Connect

    Meta Connect, previously known as Oculus and Facebook Connect, was renamed after the company rebranded in 2021. The event concentrates on emerging mixed reality technology, artificial intelligence, and wearable devices. The event is primarily virtual; attendees are encouraged to watch it live on Facebook or in virtual reality through Meta Horizon Worlds. Mark Zuckerberg will deliver the keynote and is expected to share the company’s roadmap for the metaverse and AI, and to show off a new wearable device, likely augmented reality glasses. There will also be a keynote session for executives featuring the latest developer technology for building and deploying immersive experiences.
