Katrina Forrester and Moira Weigel have guest-edited a special section in the Fall 2020 issue, focusing on “Technology and the Crisis of Work.” Inspired by socialist feminist perspectives, the essays delve into the realities of labor—both digital and physical, paid and unpaid—in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and its ongoing effects.

To mark the issue’s launch, a significant panel discussion has been arranged. On Wednesday, October 7, at 7 p.m. (EST), Forrester and Weigel will be joined by contributors Tressie McMillan Cottom, Veena Dubal, and Julia Ticona. The event is co-sponsored by Logic magazine and is open to all.

The agenda encompasses audience questions, and the discussion will be broadcast live via Zoom. Those interested in attending and submitting questions during the event are encouraged to RSVP in advance. For the latest information, visit the event page on Facebook.
