Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and AI71, a leading Abu Dhabi AI company, have joined forces with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expand global access to their made-in-UAE AI models and solutions. This collaboration combines TII’s technical expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI71’s ability to build advanced AI agents, and AWS’s world-leading cloud-based AI and machine learning services.
Key Developments
The partnership will make TII’s Falcon series of AI models more accessible through AWS platforms. Multiple Falcon LLMs are already available through Amazon SageMaker, with the latest models coming to the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace. This will allow enterprises and developers to integrate Falcon into their applications using pay-as-you-go APIs, reducing the need for significant computational resources.
AI71’s enterprise AI products, designed to automate workflows and enhance productivity across various sectors, are already available in the AWS Marketplace. This accessibility will enable millions of AWS customers worldwide to leverage these advanced AI solutions.
Advancing Innovation and Security
The collaboration between TII, AI71, and AWS aims to drive innovation in several critical areas:
- Enhanced Privacy and Cybersecurity: TII’s PetalGuard, a privacy-preserving solution, will be available in the AWS Marketplace, making it easier for organizations to adopt advanced privacy-focused technologies.
- AI Privacy Advancements: TII and AWS will collaborate on cryptographic research, including fully homomorphic encryption and multi-party computation, to advance secure and privacy-preserving AI and machine learning technologies.
- Product Innovation and Global Expansion: AI71 and AWS will work together to rapidly prototype and launch new agentic AI solutions tailored to the needs of enterprises and governments worldwide.
- AI Talent Development: AWS will help enhance AI71’s training programs by utilizing AWS-backed executive certifications to create industry-recognized AI credentials.
Industry Impact
The partnership aims to position the three organizations as the go-to partner for governments, institutions, and nations seeking turnkey, world-class AI solutions at scale. By making cutting-edge AI more accessible and advancing privacy-preserving machine learning, TII, AI71, and AWS are set to drive significant innovation in the AI landscape.
“At TII, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of applied research to deliver real-world impact,” said Dr. Najwa Aaraj, TII’s CEO. “By bringing Falcon and other AI products to AWS, we are bridging the gap between cutting-edge innovation and real-world application.”
Chiara Marcati, AI71’s Chief AI Advisory and Business Officer, added, “Partnering with AWS enables us to scale faster, expand our offerings, and develop in international markets with greater speed and impact.”
Tanuja Randery, Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa at AWS, noted, “AWS is proud to advance our collaboration with TII and AI71, bringing the power of Falcon models to a wider audience. Together, we’re empowering customers to build innovative AI-powered applications across diverse industries while maintaining control over their data.”
