Ukrainian Startup M-FLY Secures Funding to Enhance UAV Laser Guidance
Ukrainian defense tech innovator M-FLY has successfully closed a new funding round, amassing €1.19 million alongside two BRAVE1 grants. This investment injection is earmarked for the development of cutting-edge, electronic warfare (EW)-resistant laser guidance systems tailored for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and air defense systems.

According to company representatives, the funding will allow M-FLY to complete the semi-active guidance units. “This solution is unique in its EW resistance and high accuracy (over 95% hit rate). In addition, M-FLY can be used for air defense systems,” they said.
The company specializes in laser guidance systems and UAV gimbals for both military and civilian uses, operating under a B2G (Business-to-Government) model and fostering partnerships within the defense sector. The first product iterations are currently undergoing testing in combat zones, and the company is actively working towards mass production and sales.
