Universal Robots (UR) is set to host the Collaborate North America Accelerate & Automate conference and trade show, a one-day event focusing on collaborative robots (cobots). The event is part of UR’s global series and will take place on January 28th at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.
The event promises a comprehensive showcase of cobot capabilities, featuring hands-on demonstrations. Attendees can expect to see over 30 different cobot-powered cells designed for diverse applications. These applications include welding, quality inspection, material handling, machine tending, assembly, painting, and palletizing. The demonstrations will be presented by UR and its UR+ consortium, which includes a range of supplier partners such as AI Automation, Schmalz, Magswitch, PIAB, Zimmer, Schunk, Flexline Automation, Acumino AI, and SICK.
In addition to the trade show, the event will include a conference program. Stacey Moser, UR’s chief commercial officer, will deliver the opening keynote. Other speakers represent prominent firms in robotics and automation, along with companies in the automotive and AI chip manufacturing sectors. These speakers will provide insights into current industry trends and practical applications of cobot technology.
