Logitix was previously owned by ZMC, which began its partnership with the company in 2018. Under ZMC’s ownership, Logitix achieved substantial growth through strategic acquisitions and operational improvements, particularly during the challenging period of the pandemic when the live event industry faced significant disruptions.
“We are very proud of what we have built over the past several years with ZMC’s support,” said Stu Halberg, CEO of Logitix. “This new partnership with Victory Live brings immense benefits and significant growth opportunities. Their impressive team, blue-chip partners, and investments in technology will be invaluable in expanding our opportunities and achieving our long-term vision.”
Curtis Cheng, President of Victory Live, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Logitix to their platform, stating, “We believe this acquisition represents a substantial opportunity to accelerate growth and drive value for live events rightsholders, professional ticket resellers, and affiliate partners. We have enjoyed a long-standing commercial relationship with Logitix and look forward to integrating them into our unified organization.”
Logitix offers a range of products and services in the live event ticketing space, including its flagship Logitix One platform for inventory management, an Open Distribution product that integrates primary ticketing platforms with alternative marketplaces, automation tools for professional resellers, and a data product providing insights to various customer segments.
Jordan Turkewitz, ZMC’s Co-Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner, noted, “We’re satisfied with how Logitix persevered through the pandemic and emerged as a leading player. When we began our partnership, Logitix was a founder-owned business with unique technology around ticket pricing. Today, it’s a global thought leader in the ticketing ecosystem.”
The acquisition is set to leverage Logitix’s capabilities and Victory Live’s technological investments to enhance the live event industry’s ticketing infrastructure. Evercore served as financial advisor, and Lowenstein Sandler served as legal advisor to Logitix, while BofA Securities and Moelis & Company LLC acted as financial advisors, and Sidley Austin acted as legal advisor to Victory Live.
