Viettel Showcases Vietnamese Tech at MWC Barcelona 2025
BARCELONA, Spain, March 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Viettel Group highlighted its latest technological advancements at MWC Barcelona 2025, the premier annual technology event. The company showcased 22 products spanning 5G infrastructure, digital platforms, and smart applications.
MWC Barcelona 2025, held from March 3 to March 6 in Barcelona, Spain, attracts global tech leaders. This year’s event included companies like Samsung, Qualcomm, Intel, Huawei, Ericsson, Dell Technologies, Meta, Docomo, and AT&T, along with representatives from over 200 nations.

Vietnam’s Representative: Pioneering Technology and Global Partnerships
This marks Viettel’s eighth consecutive year at MWC, making it the only Vietnamese group presenting its technological expertise on this global scale.

During the event, Viettel plans to sign strategic cooperation agreements with international partners, including TikTok, Visa, China Telecom Global, Pegatron, Twilio, and SANY.
Innovation for Sustainable Development
Under the theme “Converge. Connect. Create.”, Viettel presented its 22 technological solutions across three core categories: infrastructure, platforms, and applications. These solutions aim to address connectivity, data management, enterprise needs, and improve user experiences.
With five new innovations compared to MWC Barcelona 2024, this represents Viettel’s most extensive showcase to date. Their two-story exhibition space focused on “Inventing new technologies for sustainable development,” highlighting solutions designed to meet global challenges.
Key product groups include:
- Network Infrastructure: A comprehensive 5G ecosystem, including 5G Private, 5G ORAN, and 5G Core. Viettel also presented its own semiconductor chips (RF-SoC, security chips, 5W X-Band FEM), digital twin solutions for telecom infrastructure, and a cutting-edge logistics robot complex.
- Digital Platforms: API services for mobile networks, content distribution networks, data center infrastructure management, next-generation cybersecurity platforms, and smart traffic management solutions.
- Smart Applications: AI-powered virtual assistants, interactive video call solutions (meCall), audiobook services (Mydio), alongside an advanced interactive television platform, TV360.
