Delaware North UK has released key findings from its Bar Tap, a bar powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, at Wembley Stadium, one year after its launch. The technology, which offers a ‘frictionless’ experience, has significantly improved efficiency and sales.
One of the most notable results is how quickly they can serve customers. The company reports that it now takes just seven minutes to serve an entire half-time queue. Revenue has more than doubled in 2024 compared to 2023. Furthermore, staff are able to pour up to 2,400 pints during half-time using multi-dispense units.
Delaware North says: “Bar Tap isn’t just about speed – it’s about elevating the fan experience with a tailored approach for every event. Whether it’s bespoke cocktails for The Eras Tour, signature Jagaritas for the NFL, or record breaking sales at Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois, the flexibility of Bar Tap ensures the drinks offer aligns seamlessly with the occasion. With fast, frictionless transactions and cutting-edge multi-dispense technology, fans can grab a drink and be back in their seats in no time – so they never miss a moment of the action.”
