San Francisco, famous for its historic cable cars dating back to the 1870s, has become a key location for autonomous vehicle testing. Last month, a minor incident occurred during Zoox’s San Francisco testing when one of its robotaxis came into contact with an electric scooter rider. The incident, which fortunately resulted in no injuries, prompted Zoox to issue a voluntary recall to update and enhance its self-driving technology.
