Zydus Announces Acquisition of Amplitude Surgical

Zydus, a life sciences company based in India, announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Amplitude Surgical SA, a French medical technology company. The initial purchase price is set at €256.8 million, equivalent to approximately $280 million. The acquisition will see Zydus purchase Amplitude from PAI Partners, a European private equity firm, and several other investors.
